TinyTO
Toronto City Model Restoration Internship
Built in 1989, the TinyTO city model was in need of a total restoration.
With the original 1:1250 scale model of the City of Toronto slowly deteriorating, it was time to update it to modern day Toronto with present day buildings and modernizing its entire design from the ground up.
This opportunity was an internship coordinated between Humber College Centre for Business Innovation and the City of Toronto.
Utilizing today’s technology to create an easier way to edit new developments
With 3D printing technology, the City of Toronto provided our team with detailed building files to print them in the required scale. Many new buildings were placed updating city blocks, making design of the new model very modern and organized.
